K-Pop Star Designs Smartphone Cases For Singapore IT Show

Kim Hyun Joong, the lead singer of the Korean boyband SS501 and lead actor in the Korean drama series, Boys Over Flowers collaborated with Vita-Magic, an exclusive marketer of high-end consumer brands to come up with special-edition HugU U:ZOOSIN smartphone cases. Kim’s sketches will be featured on the cases, and these will be on sale at the Singapore IT Show this 8 to 11 March.

Korean pop fever is kicking up a storm in Asia and we are most excited to launch this unique superstar series in Singapore ahead of other countries. We see this range of products as a fun way to connect with consumers and introduce Korean collectibles to Singaporeans from different walks of life.

The Singapore IT Show 2012 is one of the most awaited IT and Consumer Electronics expositions in Singapore, where more than 830 exhibitors occupying over 350,000 square feet of exhibition space at the Suntec Convention Centre.

Aside from Kim’s U:ZOOSIN designs, Vita-Magic will also be bringing to Singapore a range of premium accessories and device protectors from Korea. They will be available for pre-sale at the IT Show, before a wider market roll-out.

Products such as the HugU flexible screen protectors; HugU Glass Guard — made of shatter-proof triplex tempered glass; BELTCASE adjustable belt tablet cases; and Mobile Doctor, a screen protector with a “nano-platinum coating” for eliminating germs and bacteria.
