Women’s Lifestyle Site Yahoo! She Lands in Southeast Asia

In commemoration of the International Woman’s Day celebration earlier this month, Yahoo! took the chance to launch their female-targeted online destination Yahoo! She, with the tagline Real Women, Real Answers.  The site is aimed at empowering women, inspiring ideologies, contributing in everyday life, and building a nurturing environment for women across Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines.

Content-wise, Yahoo! She will cover uncommon stories with the topics that are less frequently or rarely discussed. The site also aims to provide information aimed at the target demographic, such as home and household, luxury products and career-related information. Targeting women from 19 until 35 years of age, the site is inspired by the successful Yahoo! Shine as number one for-women site in the U.S., with 38 million monthly unique visitors, according to a January report from comScore. Yahoo! internal research acknowledges that a majority of female Indonesian Internet users access Yahoo! Shine regularly.

Yahoo! She is plotted to be the center of interest for Indonesian women that are in the needs of rich and informative content as well as get connected with other women having the same interests and same thought in their daily life. The topics will be but not limited to polling, survey, gallery, fashion, beauty, shopping, career, healthy food, skin care, exercises and diets.
