Sony Extends Help to Metro Manila Flood Victims
Sony Philippines has announced gadget discount and donation programs that aim to help victims of the August flood that affected more than 90% of Metro Manila and also other provinces in the Philippines.
With the Bravia Discount Program, those whose Sony Bravia televisions were heavily damaged due to the recent natural disasters can avail of a cut rate of P2,000-P,4000 when they replace their units with selected BRAVIA models. The 32BX will have a cut-price of P2,000 while the 40BX450 and 46BX450 will be discounted by P,3000 and P4,000, respectively. All markdowns will be deducted from the SRP and will be honored in all authorized dealer outlets within Luzon only.
Sony is also going to donate a certain amount for every purchase of qualified devices, including VAIO laptops and digital cameras.
Meanwhile, the Gadget Donation Program allows customers to take advantage of enticing promos while making a difference. For every Sony VAIO laptop purchase, a financial assistance of P500 will be directly donated to the relief operations of the Philippine Red Cross. Similarly, every digital imaging product (Alpha, Handycam & Cyber-shot main units only) purchase will automatically result in a P200 contribution to the same effort. This program is applicable only to current Sony VAIO models and digital imaging products.
“In our own little ways we want to extend our assistance and care to our local costumers,” said Mr. Yasushi Asaoka, Sony Philippines President & Managing Director. “Our commitment to better the lives of our Filipino consumers is most important to us.”
