However, Telsyte’s mid-market cloud maturity model for Australia shows that less than 1 in 5 (18 percent) are in production or have mature cloud computing practices, with a further 51 percent in initial or test and development stages, which includes pilot programs.

Moving to the cloud provides significant benefits and advantages such as reducing ongoing overall costs which includes infrastructure and maintenance, simpler licensing, and better security and application performance.
