Interconnect solutions supplier Mellanox chooses Malaysia to expand SEA presence

DATA company Mellanox Technologies will be opening a new office in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur, to further its expansion into Southeast Asia (SEA).

Having Mellanox’s office in the country will boost Malaysia’s ambition of becoming the leading Big Data Analytics (BDA) solutions hub in SEA.

Mellanox’s new Malaysia country manager Hong Mun Loong said: “The growth opportunities in Malaysia are optimistic as organizations embark on their journey toward digital transformation, improving customer centricity and building elastic Cloud infrastructure – all of which require the ability to move growing amounts of data faster, and to gain data insights in real time.
