Small Galaxies In a Big Samsung Universe

The Samsung Galaxy Pocket joins the fleet of small smartphones from the giant Korean technology company. Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Mini 2 at Mobile World Congress (MWC), and the Pocket just last week. The three tiny yet sufficiently equipped smartphones are aimed at beginners, and will give the competition a run for their money. My favorite tech company is definitely going all out with its vast array of models for smartphones and tablets.

The following table gives a glimpse of features for all three phones. Click the images to see a larger picture.

Aside from physical size, there are no major differences among these three Samsung smartphones. The OS is the same for all three and connectivity is the same as well. Samsung put Galaxy Ace 2 ahead in terms of screen size, brainpower and storage. The Galaxy Mini 2 and Pocket neatly fall into second and third spots. There are no prices for these three new smartphones for now, but expect the ranges to fall according to the specifications ranking — and all in the affordable budget range.

Any of these three smartphones can work as a backup unit for those who bought the Galaxy Note and don’t want to whip out the huge “phoblet” for a short call.
