One of the main goals of Echelon 2012, Southeast Asia’s premier startup event, is to find and showcase the best startups in Asia. e27 has put together a six-city outreach program, called the Satellites, to connect, find and feature the rising stars of Asia’s tech startup community.

Echelon 2012 Satellites – Expanding the Search

2011 saw e27’s Echelon event reaching out to the Asian tech startup community via 4 Satellites – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong. This year, e27 has expanded the Satellites to 6 cities:

• Jakarta, Indonesia (April 7)
• Manila, Philippines (April 12)
• Singapore, Singapore (April 14)
• Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (April 17)
• Taipei, Taiwan (April 24)
• Tokyo, Japan (April 26-27)

Each Satellite will see 10 to 15 selected startups pitching for one of 10 onstage pitches at Echelon 2012. A panel of local and foreign judges will judge the Satellite pitches. Startups and attendees at the 2012 Satellites can also look forward to keynote sessions and case studies from experienced entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

Rising Stars of Asia

The Satellites and Echelon 2012 are the best platforms for rising startups. Echelon 2012 connects you to the important markets in Asia.
