Is your old computer a valuable antique?
Undoubtedly, over the years, many people have unknowingly thrown out priceless antique furniture – but now it seems that many of us may need to pay more attention to our computers and video games before consigning them to the trash.
The ShadowLands wagers that this, the first ever Apple computer, will prove to be a bargain investment at the sale price of around $A210,000.
Interest in old computers, software and also retrogaming is booming. This old game for Nintendo, for example, sold for $41,000 at auction, and this old Nintendo Entertainment System for $13,000. Vintage brick-like mobile phones can’t be far behind in the collectible stakes. The industry is young enough that there are no doubt still some valuable antique computers and video games going for a song at garage sales.
